little bit of this and a little bit of that...

Sean Kingston and Girl Talk Tickets went on sale yesterday! - 15 dollars at the House Of Blues, next to Fenway. should be a sweeet show.
My computer was fixed, Suffolk IT pulled through and found out it was my hard drive that crashed. Saved me about 400 dollars. What a Relief.
So far classes are...okay. Still waiting to get into the good stuff with my PR and advertising classes, since thats what I am most interested in. I have some interesting projects coming up creating and analyzing new ads in Advertising. I am loving my design lab course, although its a little bit out of my element. Our teacher is a teacher for the New England School of Art and Design, which is part of Suffolk, but holds art majors such as Fine arts, Graphic Design, and Interior Design. The class is like a graphic design course and we are learning photoshop and illustrator, which is a good break in my day from the textbook. Right now we are working on ads from a local boston business... Here's what I got so far. (remember I have had No experience with web design) On the left is a print ad (poster) and on the right is my online ad...My friend that I met in Australia came over for dinner last night. She goes to Wheelock college, which is only a T Ride away. This is why I love Boston. If I lived anywhere else I wouldn't get to see friends from other schools so easily.
Other than that, not too much else going on. I desperately need to do laundry, but cannot seem any time in my day to get it done. I am basically busy from 8 am to 9 pm every night, and Grey's Anatomy returns tonight!!! Just remembered and I am so excited :) Can't wait for the weekend. Saturday we have the students with students information session and after that I have the whole weekend. (although I do have a lot of homework to get done...)
Off to science and then program council, to start planning our Spooky World Halloween event!
Hay
p.s...
definately still missing this and can't believe its been over 5 months since I have been in Aus... (thats longer than I was there for!)
